![]() Then after he dropped off that customer, he back up his huge red van without even looking there are cars coming behind him. Not even an apology came out off his mouth. I told him, he couldn’t park here and just drop someone off… Obviously there’s a sign but nope, he gave me a mean look and walked away. He just park in front of the gate, dropped someone off and obviously block me from seeing of any cars are coming as I’m trying to turn right out off the building. I was coming out of Century Center, this moron driver was turning into Century Center to drop of someone, the best part is he refused to get the ticket, drive inside the building and drop off his customer like normal people would do. But I did experience a bad driver driving on the road. I did not use the service with them, thank God. I don’t even think this place deserve a one star. I haven’t tried SpeediShuttle from other airports - YMMV. Quite the opposite: there was someone waiting for me (with a sign with my name on it) at baggage claim, and I was in the van and away as soon as my bags appeared. Yesterday, my flight was an hour late, and I was worried that the van wouldn’t be there or that I would have a long wait. Finally, the service has always been friendly and professional. Third, although it is a shared van, I’m usually alone in the vehicle, and even when I’m not, there’s not a lot of stops (but I tend to go very early or very late, so maybe I’m missing rush hour). ![]() Second, their rates are good, and they have a decent kama’aina discount ( 10%, but only available over the phone). First, I’m happy that they serve the village at all - many shuttle companies only go to resort areas. Maybe it’s different between the islands? I regularly use SpeediShuttle between Kona Airport and Waikoloa Village (mauka). I’m surprised at the negative reviews, as I have had nothing but excellent service. cost was $ 13 and small change for two of us. Would I recommend the Speedi Shuttle service? ABSOLUTELY!!! cost from Salt Lake to the airport: $ 15 regular but because we are kamaaina, we got a discount. Upon our arrival at the airport, he unloaded our bags and told us to help ourselves to the bottles of water in the door. He loaded our bags, and off we went with friendly conversation. Out came a very professional, friendly driver. At 5: 25 hubby and I are standing in our driveway in the dark and a beautiful, black Mercedes SUV pulled up. I was a little nervous because last month I traveled to Korea with some friends and one was late because her cab never showed up. Hubby called and made the arrangements and he said the girl was very polite. But our experience was deserving of more than five stars. If I had checked the reviews, I probably would have gone the Über route. I did not check the Unilocal reviews but my husband said his friend used the shuttle and was very satisfied. We booked the Speedi Shuttle for a trip to the airport from Salt Lake which is a route many cabs don, t want because of the short distance.
